MISSION STATEMENT
To provide all school athletic programs in Massachusetts with access to the best health & safety equipment available through education programs and partnerships.
AED DONATION PROGRAM
Scholastic Sports Zone Foundation donates Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to school athletic programs in Massachusetts in need. We also provide CPR/AED training and assist with setting up emergency action plans.
Who We Help?
An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is used to rescue a person suffering from cardiac arrest. It’s an important tool to have on hand during practices and games if a child is not responsive, not breathing and does not have a pulse. Every 3 days another young athlete in the United States dies from Sudden Cardiac Arrest. We along with numerous friends are certified trainer’s in First Aid, CPR & AED usage – we have taught classes throughout Central Ma and most importantly have placed 50 plus AED’s.
